I added a new macrame plant hanger to my handmade shop. I love this pattern, it's a little more delicate than my other ones. I also have a turquoise one for sale as well.

I'd like to introduce my new etsy shop, Bric-a-Brac Crafts! This shop is devoted to vintage craft supplies. Vintage fabric, vintage sheet fat quarters, vintage notions, vintage sewing patterns and craft books,etc. I have A LOT of these items, so I thought it would be best to separate it from my other vintage shop. I'll be gradually adding more items to this shop. 
Oh, and I'll be redesigning the look of this blog the next few days- things may look a little off until I'm finished. Thanks.

Look at this groovy needlepoint craft book! The cover is a little scary, but there are some lovely projects in it. I'm working on a bargello-style needlepoint right now, which I'm really enjoying. I hope to finish it this weekend. Now, I have to get ready for a date afternoon/night with my husband :)

Part of my vintage pedestal mug collection. I just can't resist them at the thrift stores. I'm starting to run out of room for them, so I guess it's time to part with a few. The bottom two will be in my vintage shop next week along with some other things.
Tonight we're going out to a Thai restaurant. An early Valentine's Day gift, yay!

This morning my little one looked through vintage Christmas books while I cut paper snowflakes. A pretty nice Monday so far! Some of the books will be in the shop sometime this week. Have a nice day!

My new shop, Bric-a-Brac Handmade, is now open on etsy. Finally, whew! I've been working on Christmas items right now, but will soon be adding other items like pillow cushions, wall art, totes, and more. Most made with vintage fabrics. My handmade shop will feature upcycled and vintage inspired handmade items. I had today as my goal and made it even with a sick little one and also not feeling so well myself. But I did it! Now it's time for some much needed rest....

Isn't this a pretty little thing? Perfect for holiday parties, although I don't think we're going to any fancy parties this year!
I'm excited about my first ever acupuncture session today. My husband has been working a lot the past few months, so he suggested I have a spa day as a treat. But I've always wanted to try acupuncture (and our insurance pays for half the fee), so I'm trying this instead. I'm hoping it will help me feel a little more balanced. Centered. Ah, that would be nice....
