Look at this groovy needlepoint craft book! The cover is a little scary, but there are some lovely projects in it. I'm working on a bargello-style needlepoint right now, which I'm really enjoying. I hope to finish it this weekend. Now, I have to get ready for a date afternoon/night with my husband :)
I'm so excited. I want to try needlepoint and have been trying to track down supplies to do so. I was going to buy the cotton canvas online, but decided to wait until I checked one last craft store (a locally owned shop). Thank goodness I checked. The cost was only $7 a yard compared to the $46 a quarter yard I was going to pay online. I do have to get the tapestry yarn online, but that's OK. I hope to make some wall hangings and pillows. I can't wait to get started!
