Sorry for my absence, I've been sick for the last five days. Hopefully tomorrow is the day I'll start to feel better- I'm getting a little "cabin fever." So, here's a little inspiration I found on Pinterest in the meantime. It makes me want to pull out those hexies I have stashed away somewhere.

Today I started a Gratitude Journal. It feels like I get so wrapped up in our daily routine that I tend to forget to be mindful of the blessings in my life. I found this beautiful quote which I included in today's entry...

I rediscovered a beautiful quote today that I wrote down from a book I read a while ago, the wonderful The Gift of Motherhood :

"Within each child is a tiny seed. That seed is the origin of who he or she is. With careful tending - attention, love, nurturing - that seed can one day grow into the bloom it is meant to be. If you pay attention, you can discover the seedling within your child."

I'm loving the aprons at Anthropologie. I'm putting that on my sewing to-do list!
