All done. I finished my first macrame project. Loved making this. I was a pretty easy pattern. I've been collecting vintage macrame books for some time now and I can't wait to make some more macrame.
Sorry it's been quiet here. Just busy with enjoying summer. Also with opening another etsy shop. More on that in my next post- I can hear that nap time is now over!

I finally started my first macrame project! This has been on my crafty to-do list for quite some time. It's a large plant hanger and it's been pretty easy so far, fun actually. I can't wait to finish it and get it hung in our sun room. As soon as I perfect my technique, I think I may make a bunch to sell in my handmade shop. 
OK, off to do more macrame.
 

Isn't that a pretty embroidery? I'm going to keep it, it's too big to ship. I found it in a gross resale shop. Messy and smelly... I'm glad I didn't bring my little one in there!
Everything is becoming so green outside. The grass is green and there are small leaves on the trees. It's all just so pretty.
I'm about to have some "me time" thanks to my mother-in-law. Some thrifting, fabric shopping, and the always fun oil change for my car. Tonight we may make a fire in the patio fire pit, our first of the season. I think I may make some margaritas tonight to celebrate the occasion!

I was so happy when I found this vintage sewing pattern for the My Friend Dolls. This My Friend Mandy doll was mine as a little girl and now my daughter is adoring her. I love that I was able to pass her down. I made this cute little dress out of fabric that was left over from a skirt I made Sara. I think I'll sew up a little coat next. So cute!

This has been one of the most difficult weeks for us. It's hard to see a loved one suffering. Luckily we have our little one to make us smile. This vintage craft kit made me smile too. Have a nice weekend.
