We had perfect spring weather on Sunday, it was wonderful! I did some yard work and cleaned the garage. I put a large empty box in the yard for my little one and she had fun pretending it was her boat. Boxes can be so entertaining!
It's going to rain the entire week and I have a little one with spring fever who's stuck inside. I'm trying my best to find fun things for us to do.

Top photo is from today, the first day of spring. The bottom is from March 21, of last year. Blah! The weather has been awful for both February and March. I'm SO ready for spring, but Mother Nature has other plans I guess. I think we may actually have to hunt for Easter eggs in the snow!

It's been a busy week. Appointments, taxes, and yet another snow storm. With the waist high snow drifts in my yard, spring seems so far away. I'll be thinking of it in my craft room this weekend while I'm sewing cute little spring tops for my daughter. Have a great weekend!

I've had some poor luck thrifting recently. I hit the jackpot just one time this month on this vintage chair. I have it in the corner of my craft room - it's perfect. Unfortunately, my cat loves to use it as a scratch post!
I have been sewing pillow covers from vintage fabrics to sell in my handmade shop.The one above (from a vintage tablecloth) I decided to keep for myself. Aren't the colors pretty? This past week I've been busy making macrame plant hangers for my shop. I'm totally addicted to macrame. Photos soon!
